Delete your Gold Monster account
For the Gold Monster Mining Network website and app. Deleting your account erases it and your data right away — here is how, what goes, and what we keep.
Your account has been deleted. You are signed out, and everything listed under “What is erased” below is gone. Your subscription was cancelled and you will not be charged again.
Delete it yourself — about a minute
- Sign in to the Gold Monster app or website.
- Open Settings → Delete account.
- Read what will be erased, type DELETE to confirm, and press Permanently delete my account.
It takes effect immediately. You do not need to contact anyone, and you do not need to cancel your subscription first — deleting the account cancels it.
What is erased
- Your login (email and password) and your profile.
- Your claims, deadlines, and the paperwork and filings you prepared or signed in Gold Monster — including signed filings. Print or save anything you want to keep before you delete.
- Your trips, waypoints, field notes, photos and files.
- Your Gold Monster AI history, permissions and locks, and your Claims Wizard answers.
- Your friend links and trip shares. Trips you own disappear for the people you shared them with; other members’ own accounts and data are not touched.
- Saved drafts and caches on the device you delete from.
What we keep
Only the payment record: for each payment, the Stripe reference, the amount and the date (plus your founding-member number, if you have one), kept for bookkeeping and tax. Your name, email and notes are removed from that record, so it no longer says whose it was. Stripe, our payment processor, keeps its own records of payments as the law requires. Nothing else is kept in our live systems.
Your subscription
If you have a paid subscription, deleting your account cancels it immediately and removes your card from billing; you will not be charged again. Deleting does not issue a refund by itself — if you want to ask for one, do that before you delete. Founding Members: your membership ends with the account, and signing up again with the same email does not bring it back. Payments are made on the website only, never inside the app.
Can’t sign in? Ask us to delete it
If you have lost your password or no longer have the app, you can still ask for your account to be deleted. Email Steve at Gold Monster: greenhorngoldmonster1978@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my Gold Monster account”, from the email address the account was created with. A person handles these requests, so it is slower than deleting in Settings, and we may reply to that address to confirm it is you before we erase anything. We reply once it is done.
Prefer to reset your password and delete it yourself? Sign-in has a “Forgot your password?” link.
